Our ebony pendant was maded from the Vietnamese Ebony -乌纹木 (wū wén mù) in central of Vietnam with handmade, each carefully selected nuts to create these fine wood pendant.

Ebony is a dense black hardwood, most commonly yielded by several different species in the genus Diospyros. Ebony is dense enough to sink in water. It is finely-textured and has a very smooth finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood. The word ebony derives from the Ancient Egyptian (hbny), via the Ancient Greek ἔβενος (ébenos)

In Vietnam, Ebony is a endemic rare woods of southern central mountainous (from Phu Yen to Binh Thuan). Ebony almost completely extinct, the big size wood difficult to found in the market that they are found mostly in the form of driftwood
